Photoplay dergisi

Photoplay, Amerika Birleşik Devletleri'nin ilk sinema dergilerinden, 1911 yılında Chicago'da kurulumuştur.

Motion Picture Story ile birlikte zamanın en popüler dergileri arasında yer almıştır, kurulduğu tarihe dikkat edilirse, Hollywood'un doğuşu ve gelişine tanıklık etmiştir.

1920 senesinde, Photoplay Medal Honor (sinema sektoru için şeref madalyası) ve Gold Medal (altın madalya) geleneği başlamış, 1967'de son bulmuştur. Honor ve Gold Medal ödüllerinin sahipleri sırası ile,
